This is a large decorative charger plate, measuring 13.75 inches in diameter. It is made of aluminum and features an embossed floral design, primarily roses, encircling the rim and a central motif. The edge of the plate has a decorative, scalloped or beaded finish. Significant corrosion is visible on the surface, particularly in the lower half of the plate, detracting from its original appearance. The underside of the plate is smooth and shows some scratching, consistent with normal use and storage. The maker's mark 'ALUMINUM BY GAIL STYN' is clearly visible on the underside.
