Lovely porcelain jewelry / trinket box - Andrea by Sadek, featuring Limoges-Style cobalt blue and gold colors and motif of courting couples. Made in Japan. This NY Import business was founded by Norman and Charles Sadek in 1936 and became a pioneer in post world war trade. Many designs are inspired by classic creations from internationally known museums and historic sites. Andrea by Sadek prides itself on working with some of the USA's finest institutions to create gift and tabletop collections based on actual pieces found and licensed from prestigious sites.
