This item is an original Native American clay vase. The vase is by L. Maney of the Bigmeat family of the Cherokee Indians who live on the Qualla Boundary in western North Carolina.
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or other imperfections. The vase is an American black glaze and has a nice matte finish. "Friendship" design incised on middle of vase. Signed on the base by Louise B. Maney.
Measures approximately 7" tall.
