Ended Vintage Reverse Empress Chinese Ancestor Painting

Condition: Very good condition
This is a vintage/antique Chinese ancestor painting. Date is unknown, although there is a small label on the back from the Chinese republic era. The painting has not been removed from its original frame because I did not want to disturb the delicate peg and groove wood panel framing on the back (see photos). I believe this is a reverse painting on glass, but needs to be properly removed to determine its medium.
The painting itself is expertly done in vivid colors and high detail. I conducted some cursory research and this painting looks like it is of the Chinese Empress Xiaochengren, who was the first Empress Consort of Kangxi Emperor of the Qing dynasty. She died at the age of 20, making her the most short-lived Empress of the Qing dynasty.
The painting is encased in a black lacquered wood frame (possibly rosewood) with brass handle on top. Overall measurements: 14" x 20.5".
This is an ORIGINAL painting and an absolutely beautiful find.
