A true antique example of a William & Mary chair. Exact age unknown, but it is NOT the 1920s Tudor revival stuff. It is likely mid-1700s - early 1800s, probably re-caned sometime in the 20th C. Possibly old English/Scottish oak, it has many signs of age including worm holes.
