Vintage/Antique Stag Handle with brass cross bar "Gold Rush" knife. Some of the metal pins are missing on the handle, but it is as sturdy as ever; not loose, doesn't move a bit. The blade is etched with: CALIFORNIAN and an Eagle holding a bag of gold, plus the following: "Ask for nothing but what is RIGHT and submit to nothing that is WRONG" plus "I can dig gold from quartz" Since this knife is so old and has been used, it is hard to see the etching, but it is there ... if you look at it in good light, you can still read most of it. This collectible knife is a super find. Overall length is 15-1/4" and the blade measures 10".
