Antique Lakeside pencil sharpener, Patent Pending. Sole agent, Eberhard Faber, New York. This pencil sharpener is a rare find. The patent was applied for in 1901 and received in 1911, so this one is earlier than 1911. Made of cast iron and steel, with a black wood handle; has a little steel drawer to catch the shavings. I tried this sharpener and it works great! Measures 5-3/4" tall, base is 5" x 3".
