A beautiful vintage Tahitian painting on black velvet by artist, Martin Roger, featuring a young androgynous Tahitian beauty, measuring 23-1/2" x 19-1/2" inches. It is in the original gold frame, signed "Martinroger, Tahiti" in the upper left corner, see close up photo, in overall good condition but lightly soiled from 50 years of hanging in a bar. This oil painting evokes shades of Gauguin.
