Here is an early production model U.S. M4 Bayonet by Kinfolks found with an US M8 scabbard with frog by B.M.Co.(Beckwith Manufacturing Co)...Designed to fit the M1 Carbine...produced for a short time toward the end of the war...between 1944 and 1945...The pommel is marked with the initials SP for the Standard Products Company and the Ordinance mark...six groove leather handle and Parkerized blade...Hits all the points...Some normal use and age...light oxidation on outer hardware with time...Great shape on the 6 3/4" blade...Tight...no play...A nice one for your collection of World War Two edged weapons...
