Prices are firm on Friday. Discounts are offered the last 2 days of the sale. Saturday - 20% discount Sunday - 50% discount.
Written bids are accepted and reviewed at the end of each day of the sale. Written offers to buy out remaining estate at the end of the sale are also considered.

Featured Pictures

We are honored to present the estate sale of Dr. Eric Binnie.  Dr. Binnie lived in Scotland and Canada before moving to Conway, AR in 1989.  Dr. Binnie taught dramatic literature, acting, Shakespeare, dramatic theory, voice and the Alexander Technique at Hendrix College from 1989-2014, retiring as Professor Emeritus of Theatre and Arts.  Due to his extensive travels around the world, there are many interesting and unique items in this sale.  In addition to the usual household items, any theater buff or someone that enjoys books or art will not want to miss this sale!  

 

Kitchen - Many small kitchen appliances.  Bakeware, several cheesecake pans, cast iron and several LeCreuset pans.  J&G Meakin ironstone, lots of silverware (including sterling silver) and utensils. Antique bowls and serving pieces.  Kitchen appliances will be for sale. Kitchen table with enamel top used as an island.  Shelf made from a wine rack. Vintage linen towels from Ireland and UK.  Cookbooks, metal tins, wine bottles for crafts.

Dining room - Dining room table (includes 2 leaves) and 4 chairs.  Beautiful 12 piece china set that includes several serving pieces by Pirkenhammer (made in Czechoslovakia). Wonderful European wardrobe/armoire. Bookcases made in Russia.  Antique book shelf.  Antique oak table that folds and includes custom made tabletop protector. Antique light globes and fixtures.  Lots of vintage serving pieces, most from England.  2 antique field desks and other unique European antiques, top hats, gloves, vintage picnic basket.

Living room - Large leather chair, antique couch, vintage side chairs, end tables (by Century Furniture), large wooden buffet cabinet (by Century Furniture), several pieces of antique and vintage artwork.  TONS of books throughout the house including many books signed by the author, playbills, magazines from the 1950's and earlier.

Bedroom - Solid wood bedroom suite including queen size headboard, mirror and 2 night stands. Standalone wooden dresser.  Lots of linens, blankets and pillows. Textile wall hanging, rugs, lamps and artwork.  Massage table (made by Golden Ratio Woodworks) in a carry case. Antique book shelves, Upholstered bench.  Very nice men's size XL coats and suits (many from UK), clothes, vintage boots by Roots and other vintage shoes. Misc linens and quilts and quilt tops.

Other items - Antique library table and chair, vintage typewriter, Nikon camera, leather bags, lots of luggage, workout equipment.  LOTS of fabric, vintage patterns, Juki MO654DE serger sewing machine, trim, buttons, etc.  Full size skeleton (used in classroom).  Many wonderful postcards, posters and playbooks from plays from around the world.  Lots of office items, Dell Dimension E520 computer, Dell monitor and keyboard and H/P printer, Laptop pad in case, many small electronics.  Albums, cassette tapes, CDs and VHS tapes.  Outside wicker furniture and side tables.  Also several project pieces of furniture (antique sofa, chair, fold up chairs) that will be priced to sell if you ever wanted to try your hand at upholstery.  Several tools, many still in the package.

Antique Japanese scrolls - One scroll is over 60 continuous feet and is 13 inches wide.  It has various watercolor artwork every 12 - 18 inches.  The second scroll is approximately 14 continuous feet and is 8 inches wide.  The watercolor artwork is of men and 1 woman.  We are in the process of authenticating the age of these pieces.  Based on information from the family, the scrolls are believed to be from the 1800's.
