Asian Works of Art Auction

Clars Auctions will hold its Asian Works of Art auction on Thursday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m. This will feature a private San Francisco an extensive collection of Chinese ceramics and bronze sculptures from Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. Highlighting the bronze sculpture portion of the collection are two Ming dynasty Buddhist sculptures, one representing Guanyin and the other representing Akshobhya Buddha. The ceramic section is highlighted by a Wanli mark and of the period blue and white 'dragon' box and a late Ming dynasty Dehua figure of Wenchang.
