This house was custom built by the owners and very little overhead lighting was used. The owner loved good table lamps, chandeliers, sconces, etc, as the large living spaces needed more intimate lighting than the typical overhead or track lighting of the era. This lamp is exemplary of her taste for unusual and one-of-a-kind lighting. This dude is an amazing antique French table lamp, w/ornate brass ormolu and green porcelain base, w/Waterford silk shade.

Beautifully inlaid/burled mahogany "Copley Place" console table, by Hekman Furniture Co., Grand Rapids, MI, pair of custom made table lamps, with vintage Italian terra cotta urns and hand-made L-R facing brass floral details (by Paul Smith, ATL lamp genie) one of a pair of nicely framed/matted crane prints, by Carol Griggs, this one is entitled "Bird of Happiness", large black slate Italian mantle clock with bronze figure of Lorenzo de Medici, pair of custom made mirror and poplar bark planters and a pair of flared hand-colored metal planters.

Monumental antique black slate and bronze Italian clock, measuring 1' 21" long x 1' 23" to the top of the bronze figure. The bronze figure atop this clock is Lorenzo de Medici - "Banker, de facto ruler of the Florentine Republic and the most powerful and enthusiastic patron of Renaissance culture in Italy . Also known as 'Lorenzo the Magnificent' by Contemporary Florentines, he was a magnate, diplomat, politician and patron of scholars, artists and poets".

Gorgeous "Aston Court" 7-drawer Chinese Chippendale flame mahogany convertible-top server, w/lower shelf, vintage Asian earthenware lamp, vintage tole table lamp, pair of vintage English porcelain lions, antique burl wood English writing desk, pair of square, hand-made poplar bark & steel leaves planters, and the other of the pair of nicely framed/matted crane prints, by listed artist Carol Griggs - this one entitled "Crane Song".
