This estate sale came about when the owners decided to move to Presbyterian Village, to relax and enjoy independent living - no more mowing grass! They were well-known dorm parents on the GA Tech campus for 31 years - lovely couple. Can you imagine the stories they can tell!?! Do you enjoy estate sales? How about scrunging at yard/garage/thrift stores? Please realize that there is a huge difference between authentic estate sales and the other venues to get your fix. I personally love to dig through any type of sale (hence my Ph.D in shopping) to find a hidden treasure...

Rogue mahogany dining chairs, from a broken home. This poor Mother chair is trying to raise two children, while working three jobs. She can barely afford acrylic nails and hair extensions. Please help, if you can find it in your heart to do so.

Here's a better pic of the mahogany table. It has three leaves and 12 chairs. There's also the Victorian desk/chest/display cabinet thing. It's quite nice, once I put my magic spit on it.

Nice leather couch, very heavy, especially when you have to drag it out of the basement, around the house and through the front door, so you can buy it. Now you know the REST of the story. The stairs leading to the basement are quite litigious and there's a very scary thing living down there. Don't ask.

Now THIS is cool! The owners had this 4-poster double bed commissioned by a woodworker in Richmond, VA 70 years ago. It has slats and really needs a box spring, but then you'll need a ladder to climb in the thing!
