George was a University of Illinois Art Professor for 38 years, he passed away in 1999.
He is known in the art world for his collages made of copper, aluminum, brass and other metals and the unique way he put them together. He was into nature, many of his collages and oil paintings depicts landscapes. While working at the University he took many trips with groups of students on Art trips throughout the American west and oversees.
