Every Pickers Dream

The Front Porch is decorated with a pair of Primitive Rustic Chairs, bird houses, and Milk Cans, and really sets the tone for what you’re going to find inside!

You will walk into the Living Room where you will find a 1908 beautiful Minnesota A (first model) sewing machine, a few jars of unsorted vintage buttons, some odd fabric pieces, a couple antique wood thread spools, an 1896 “knock down” spindle for files, an 1890’s Stereo Graphoscope, a pre-1930 Ear Trumpet hearing device, a comfy flex steel sleeper sofa, a nice Lift Chair, a beautiful antique Console Gulbransen Piano, an antique violin with case, two Duncan Phyfe Hepplewhite shield back chairs, two antique violins for repurposing or repair with cases, a 1920 low tone J.W. York & Sons Saxophone in case (made in Grand Rapids) , a 1930’s Marx Violin-uke in its original box,  a 1930’s Clarinet (intact in original caseThe Elkhart), music books, sheet music, a mid-century wire record rack, Victrola records, (including some jazz) Albums, 1950’s & 60’s 45 records, a very old humpback trunk, an antique spoon carved dresser, and so much more! We added a Mid-Century modern tension floor lamp with atomic  shades.

Off the living room in the Dining Room with an Oak Pedestal table with one leaf, and four chairs, a cool Mid-Century Speckled Charteuse set of china service for four, a newer medium size buffet, a NIB Princess House platter, a shelf with a farm house clock, and neat vintage items, two beautiful commodes,  and candlestick stand, an antique birdcage on a floor stand, a cute little bench, and the Jewelry table with vintage and fun costume jewelry!  Just added a fairly large stamp collection!  

From the dining room you walk into the Kitchen which is jam packed with usable kitchenware, vintage utensils, a mid-century chrome paper dispenser, a huge amount of Fostoria Fluer de lis pattern glassware (bowls, luncheon set, creamer and sugar, nappy etc), and some Fostoria American glass pieces, hammered Aluminum pieces, a large Nescoe Electric roaster, a new in box indoor electric grill, a high chair, microwave cart, and so much more!

Can't wait to see you at our sale. Setup was 3120.

Out of the kitchen you will pass through another Entry with great wooden wall hangings, a very nice primitive dry sink, a good amount of clothing including some fun retro pieces, two leather jackets and household products.

Step down into the Family Room! You will see a Victorian Settee (project needs a leg reattached –leg is there), a coat rack filled with vintage hats, a very large Duncan Phyfe table (project – needs at least three legs glued), two Duncan Phyfe dining room chairs with needle point seats, a Duncan Phyfe coffee table, a quilt rack, quilts, some beautiful Antique clothing, two Danish Modern chairs, lots of small primitive and vintage décor, like old Marx tin Union Pacific RR cars, Dietz lanterns, crates, a hand pump fire extinguisher with good graphics, a cast iron cow, with a bell wall hanger, a#4 Red Wing bee sting crock with excellent graphics, another #4 crock that had hair tonic in it, a small blanket size cedar chest, rockers, a large unusual tall  blanket chest, a quilt rack with quilts, a hanging tole lamp, and a table tole lamp,  painted saw blades, wash board, coca cola trays, and more. The china and glassware table is in this room with a ton of lovely items.

Back through the kitchen and the dining room is a Bedroom where you will see vintage books, (like a 1936 Girl Scout guide), crates, a pair of mid-century modern (working) floor lamps, a complete WWII army uniform, with hats and boots, an antique crib, a neat old child’s chair, a small antique side table, old games and more!

Just before that bedroom is a very narrow stairway to the Upstairs! There is so much neat stuff up here that you will have to see if for yourself! The first Bedroom has household linens, quilts, Afghans, a small child’s wardrobe/dresser, some 1960’s baby clothing, and a cute vintage night stand. The second Bedroom at the end of the hall has a slightly larger wardrobe, an old spring and mattress set, an antique cane seat chair, and will have many girl’s vintage toys like paper dolls in their original folders, small tin litho kitchen,  small tin doll house, a tin litho doll bed, and more!

The Store Room is on the other side of the hall, and there are some amazing items here! There is a 1920’s ornate speaker in a cast iron base, an Ingraham wooden mantle clock, a very old copy or printing machine, a shoe form with all the shoes, a 1920’s or 30’s electric fan, an old small Kerosene heater, an ornate round speaker mounted on a cast iron base, a Farmer Peet’s shortening pail from Chesaning, MI, a vintage Jazz Band picture, a Disney Donald Duck lamp with shade, Ornate Art Deco cast iron swing arm drapery holders, (great for repurposing!), a rusty pre- WWII metal farm truck (toy) 1935 Marx tin Roadside Rest Service Station (know as the Laruel and Hardey), the Bizzy Andy Trip Hammer, a tin lithograph light house,and other tin lithograph children’s toys..

The Garage although attached to the house has its own entrance and it is FULL of home decor, Christmas, and kitchen items. There is a neat tall chest of drawers, some hand tools and hardware, some garage and garden products, crates, galvanized pails,  and more! Today we added an antique kerosene galvanized chick brooder, a large cast iron cauldron, and a white enamel antique Prosperity gas cooking stove (1940 made by Sears and Roebuck) and an industrial era metal milking stool.
