Lenny Silver left us recently, but not before leaving his indelible mark on Western New York and beyond. Founder of Record Theatre, one of the longest running independent record stores in the United States. Lenny was a visionary who made his ideas work to the tune of over forty store locations, but Main and Lafayette will always be Lenny Silver Way. He also founded Amherst Records in the late 1970s, and attracted an eclectic roster of talent from his connections in the record business.
