This is a Sale that you do not want to miss! It truly will not be forgotten by those who attend, and will be the Sale that 'got away' for those who couldn't attend. A Sale so large, with an expansive inventory that it warrants a full 4 day schedule. Our lovely Clients have allowed us the honor of representing their familial property and collections maintained over many generations. This notable property of Historic Significance is the guardian of the main residence and 2 barns. All of which will be open with 'designated' Sale areas.
IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE INFORMATION:
1. There is NO PARKING on the property.
2. PARKING is available at the Moebius Nature Center on E Mennonite. 500 yards from the Farm.
3. NUMBERS will be given at the MOEBIUS NATURE CENTER. Please do not proceed to the property without a number. EVERYONE NEEDS A NUMBER. Please do not crowd the gate to property--cars will be entering and leaving prior to the opening of the Sale.
4. ADMITTANCE will be limited to groups of 40. You will have access to both the Home and the Barns. If one area is full, we reserve the right to redirect your start to another area. There will be a wait for entrance. Please be patient and courteous. We will do everything to expedite the process.
5. In the home, you will be required to either remove your shoes, or wear provided protective booties.
6. There are many steps to enter the home, and many steps inside the home. For those with mobility issues, please bring a buddy to assist.
7. Pick up for large purchases or items will be facilitated curbside. Please bring assistance to move and load large items. Our Staff can not load, box, wrap purchased items. We will supply as much 'bags, boxes, wrapping' as possible, please bring your own.
8. MOST IMPORTANT: Bring your sense of humor, patience and jolly disposition. This is going to be a fun sale, and we only impose these 'guidelines' to allow for a great shopping experience for everyone!
And, now on to the treasures! This Sale is not about 'name brands', however there are so many. Imagine if you will many generations of family who lovingly cared for and stored correctly to preserve the condition for heritage. Collectors with not only a keen eye, sense of style, but highly talented individuals through the generations with diverse interests that are evident in their collections. There is everything and anything one could wish for inside the doors of the home. Plan accordingly.
Now, on to the barns......We've scoured every area, so please trust that there is nothing left in the 'closed' areas. All has been cleaned out and secured. Begging and pleading will not gain you access no matter how nice you ask! In the 'Horse Barn', you'll find a host of just about everything. Furniture with the appropriate patina for usage, and many items ready for repurposing. Outdoor iron furniture, benches, statuary, grills, fireplaces, large scale decorative Antique Frames, ladders, wagon wheels, doors, BARN DOORS, planters, lawn equipment, tools, EZ GO gas golf cart, slabs of marble, stainless steel work top, wicker, CHAIRS, tables, rusty industrial items, beds of all sizes, trunks, patio and lawn furniture, lanterns and just about anything you would expect and imagine a Century Barn would have held with lovingly reverence.
Now the 'Garage-Barns' (as we call them) are certainly areas of intrigue. For all the Auto Enthusiasts, this sale is for you. The Patriarch was an accomplished and master Auto Restoration Specialist. Award winner, and recognized amongst collectors and peers, the collection of parts and epherma is jaw dropping. As we have experience in this genre, please know that all of these offerings are researched and will be priced accordingly focusing on the restoration market and collector. Vintage parts for 69 Mustang, Fairlanes of different years, and many other Ford brands (to be updated as we progress). Also included are newer OEM for Ford and Chevy. We've got everything from fenders, grills, flares, seats, doors, (2) 1950's Ford Engines, hubcaps, tires, transmissions etc. An entire library of reference materials, manuals, brochures, tear sheets, magazines. Posters, collectibles, memorabilia all of a level of importance. Of course there are accompanying compressors, slides and other items necessary for restoration.
The other 'Garage-Barn' is inclusive of everything 'else'. Collections of antique wrought iron, trunks, art pottery, more automotive collections, music, kites, outdoor necessities, furniture. You'll also find a large array of name brand golf clubs and appropriate accessories. Vintage scooters, bikes, baseball mits and a host of other sporting equipment.
We can not express enough the gravity and abundance of this sale. We never exaggerate the importance of a sale, and guarantee this will be one of the most incredible Sales of the Season. As we would love to detail every item, it's just not possible, however we will do our best to provide a photographic overview of all areas.
