Antique "Personal Memoirs of U.S. Grant" Vol. I and II: A two volume set entitled Personal Memoirs of U.S. Grant. Published by Charles L. Webster & Company in New York, Volume I has a 1885 copyright date, and Volume II was copyrighted in 1886. Each is bound in a dark green cloth cover with a gilt medallion featuring Major General Ulysses S. Grant’s image to the front center. A gilt medallion to the back cover is marked Mississippi River. Each volume features a tissue-guarded frontispiece portrait of Grant, maps, facsimile inscriptions and letters. The Personal Memoirs of U. S. Grant is an autobiography of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States, focused mainly on his military career during the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War. Written as Grant was dying of cancer in 1885, the two-volume set was published by Mark Twain shortly after Grant’s death.

Vintage Wooden Bench: A vintage wooden bench. A gorgeous Louis XVI style mahogany bench seat with a brown leather cushion. This bench features a hand carved backrest in a sunburst motif with a floral trim. The arms are a curving piece of wood with a carved and turned front leading to reeded tapered legs. The padded brown leather seat is accented with criss-cross lacing and anchored with brass rivets.

G. Barton Oil Painting of a Farm Scene: An oil painting on canvas of a farm. This painting depicts fenced farm animals and farmer with pitchfork and a thatched building and home to the background. An artist signature, appearing to read ”G. Barton"’ can be seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring molded foliate patterning to the borders. Found to the vero is affixed hanging wire.

Ruthe G. Pearlman Original Mixed Media Artwork: An original mixed media artwork by Cincinnati artist Ruthe G Pearlman, titled Carousel. The work depicts a carousel of toy cars surrounded by families. A roller coaster track and ferris wheel are etched in the background. Presented behind glass in a wood frame. Pearlman entered the Cincinnati Art Academy at the age of sixteen in 1929 and was an instructor there until 2006. She passed away in 2007 at the age of 93, a true lifer of art, its teaching, and its practice.

John Ruthven Offset Lithograph "Ring-Necked Pheasant": An offset lithograph after a work by John Ruthven titled Ring Neck Pheasant. This print is plate IV of the Colonial series and depicts a pheasant in flight over tall grass and a fence.

John Ruthven OffSet Lithograph "Rufous Hummingbird": A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of an original painting by beloved Ohio wildlife illustrator John Ruthven (born 1924), titled Rufous Hummingbird – Selasphorus rufus, Indian Pink – Silene laciniata. The print depicts the two hummingbirds floating gracefully near a tall flowering plant, all depicted in neutral shades of brown and green with vivid coral accents. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left and its title is printed to the lower center margin. The piece is signed and numbered 342/750 in pencil. It is double-matted and presented behind glass in a wooden frame and a hanging wire to the verso.
