Rare 3 Gallon jug excellent condition. Kiln mark on side as can be seen in pictures!! this piece is consigned from a private NC Estate and has never been on the market. Issac Lefever Jug Rare Potter from Catawba Valley N.C. Isaac Lefever was Daniel Seagles second apprentice. He is listed in the 1850 Lincoln county cunsus as living with the Seagle family. It is possible that he was related to the Lefever pottery family from East Tennessee. Isaac enlisted in the confederate Army and was killed in 1864 at the Battle of Petersburg.
