Our estate sale this week is the estate of Jakie Sanfilippo. Mr. Sanfilippo was an Aircraft Engine Mechanic and served in the United States Navy assigned to the U.S.S. Monterrey. He had worked at the Naval Air Station in Fallon, Nevada and subsequently Kelly Air Force Base eventually ending up at the U.S. Army Helicopter Repair Facility in Corpus Christi. He retired after 36 years of government service. Mr. Sanfilippo had a keen mechanical sense and was the ‘go to guy’ for family and friends whenever repairs were needed.
