The Lefèvre megascope or lampadorama is a device used to project images through the reflection of light from two oil lanterns to a glass plate with painted images The Lampadorama magic lantern from Delagrave, Paris; it is an oval with polychrome decorated body, with a pierced brass gallery, carrying handles, the interior with polished metal reflectors, a slide focusing removable lens holders with hinged cover and interior cast plaque stamped. There is loss of paint. Not complete. Made in France. The apparatus consists of an opaque box, whose lower and upper faces are perforated with holes that allow it to be placed on two oil lamps of the same height.
