Translation is as follows: MO Dirickson Border crease like Noble's Lee Robinson tree 14" 13" special low swell, no. 8 iron horn 2 1/2" cap 3" Schweitzer Special cantle, little more sloping than regular Square skirts, round corners-27x14 Bell fenders, rawhide covered horn and cantle Strap rigging Stirrups 1 1/2" leather covered M.O.D. On back of cantle 8 strings, side and front jockeys in one piece Melvin Dirickson's brother L. H. aka Dick, ака Hazel, and possibly the last saddle made for another brother; Noble, aka Wishy. The saddle may not have been completed until late 1939, or possibly even early 1940. It was made for Melvin Dirickson.
