Immaculate home with lovely furnishings. Owners are an opera singer & concert pianist; they lived in Europe for many years & travelled extensively, acquiring things all along the way. Persian Kirman rug, c. 1930s, 11 x 17 ft. This rug is said to have belonged to Amelia Earhart (!) though we have no documentation regarding the provenance. The rug was gifted to the sellers by the daughter of a New York City attorney who handled Ms. Earhart's estate.
