My love for antiques began about 35 years ago, trading my older brother 2 days labor for a Neon beer sign and a 1930's pressed steel RC Cola sign. In high school I began to "upcycle", buying and selling everything from cars to guitars, for extra cash.
About a decade back, I created, produced, and hosted Auction Hound TV, working with great auctioneers to help promote their sales. I was a huge fan of a, then new show called American Pickers on History, and wanted to play off of that shows' sensibility, except promoting auctions. The show was revolutionary for its time, and the unusual marketing combined with the professionalism throughout helped garner record results for many of the featured auctions.
Since then, I have worked directly for auctioneers helping market and host sales, including Harmony Road Estate sales.
