Our Testimonials

From Google Review: During the process of selling our house, we had the pleasure of working with Andy Beard and the team Caring Transitions of Augusta. We wanted to quickly clean out everything in the house. Andy was very efficient in moving everything out of the house within days which allowed us time to prep the house for the market. Andy communicated with us every step of the way and helped to ready the house. The group worked very diligently to make sure that everything was sold swiftly. Andy is always easy to get in touch with and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Andy and Caring Transitions of Augusta were able to ease us through this difficult process and we loved working with him and his entire group.Green JadeFebruary 2024
From Google Review: There comes a time when we all have to downsize, whether we want to or not. My husband and I had to do that when we moved to a home half the size of the one we were in. Now what do we do? It was overwhelming to even think about it!

A garage sale was out of the question, I'd done that before. The children already took what they wanted, ( not much! ), and still we had way too much STUFF!

What a stroke of genius it was to hear about Caring Transitions. We had many questions. We didn't want to just open our home to the world and let them roam our home deciding if they wanted our treasures.

We gave Andy Beard, Caring Transitions a call. Within a day or two he was at our door answering our many questions. We decided to take a leap! It ended up to be one of the best decisions we had made.

Andy's team of three mature, caring women walked with us through our home noting what we wanted to sell. They then spent the day researching, staging and photographing. We were told the time when our auction would go on line and we were able to view the bids that were being made. Caring Transitions handled everything, literally. They met the people who purchased our things, handled all the money and mailed the things that had to be sent out of town.

We did so well on our auction that we had a second one 6 weeks later, and we are anticipating doing a third in the not too distant future.

Andy and his team are phenomenal. They will respect your property and handle everything. We have told all of our friends about them and can't say enough.

What a sense of peace, (and relief) it is to have a company to help you downsize and find "new homes" for the things you no longer need or want.

Sincerely,
Sharon and Jerry Baine

From Google Review: My wife and I are retired and enjoy adding to our collectibles and buying items for resale and gifts. We have done business on CT Bids (Caring Transitions) throughout the Southeastern U.S. for several years and have purchased everything from an 18th Century gold cameo ring to 2 stair chairlifts for our home. We have never had a problem since we use try to use "auction buyer common sense." The one CT Bids location which stands out above the others is the Beard's Location in the Augusta, GA/Aiken, SC area. They also use common sense in their listings and dealings with auction buyers. Their descriptions are meat and potatoes and basic. They give as accurate description as possible without trying to be experts on any item. That is important to novice and experienced buyers as auctions are unique as compared to store and online shopping. You're always taking a gamble in auction buying trying to get a bargain. That's the mentality a buyer must have to have fun and to avoid disappointment some of the time. We highly recommend the Beard's CT Bids auctions.Thomas E GregoryJune 2023
