It was overwhelming to be put in charge of getting rid of the items in my uncle’s 4500+ sqft home but Steven and staff of Lott’s treasures really took care of the situation. They worked very hard to declutter a lot of the stuff and stage them for the sale. I especially liked how I was carried along with every process involved and the transparency of Lott’s treasures. A week after our Lithia Springs sale began and even now I am amazed at the job Lott's did. In preparation, every time they pulled something out there was more found...our Mother was truly a "collector" with a "good eye". It was overwhelming the amount of "treasures" even we children found. After my mom died I was pretty overwhelmed. My mom had a 6000 SQ ft home that was packed full of a lifetime of belongings that I couldn't possibly hold on to. Especially since I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Chicago. My wife found Lott's Treasures when we were were googling trying to find experienced trustworthy people who could manage an estate sale without us having to be there. When Steve came to first see my mom's house he was incredibly warm and seemed very capable. After speaking with him and reviewing the contract we decided to go with his company over the other companies we interviewed. The percentage he charged was more expensive than some of the others (40%) but that made sense based off of how large my mom's house was, how much stuff she had, and how many people he'd need to staff the house for the three day sale. It evened out since the proceeds from the sale far exceeded what we were expecting which was a nice surprise. I think that's all down to their professionalism and their great advertising.

Never doing this before, and living in another state, was a big concern to me. I had no idea how this works, what I needed to do etc. Thank God for great neighbors, who took it upon themselves to seek out the best of at least eight to ten Estate Sale Companies, it came down to Lott's Treasures and one other. The two were brought to the house and stated to the neighbors involved exactly what they and how they would conduct the sale. LOTT's, got the job on their professionalism. The other group was a younger group and lacked intrest, detail and professionalism.
I along with my family was able to sit down with both Steve and Don, to go over the contract and answer any questions we may of had and went on to tell us alittle bit of themselves also. We all felt comfortable that we were leaving my brothers home in good hands. They work hard and work long hours to prepare the home for the sale. We were well educated in conducting an Estate Sale but would never want to do one. It's exhausting!

Lott’s Treasures and Estate Sales went above and beyond the call of duty to help us! My father-in-law passed away and we needed to put his house on the real estate market. Although the house had great treasures in it, it was too crowded with “stuff” to try to sell. Our agent recommended we have an estate sale, which we knew absolutely nothing about. I called Lott’s Treasures and spoke to Steve.
Within 2 days, Steve and Don met us at the house. They worked around our schedule since we live in Alabama and the sale was to be in Georgia. Their company was very busy at the time, but they made sure to accommodate us. In just over a week, they had the house organized, priced and ready for the sale. We did not have to be there, they took care of it all! What a relieve! Any items that didn’t sell were donated and we didn’t have to do a thing. We returned to an empty, clean house and now had the money to continue to maintain the house until we sell it.

I had no idea where to start when faced with the task of liquidating my Mom’s estate. So I called a close friend who is an antiques dealer and attends estate sales every week. She said if she were in my shoes she would call Steve Lott. That turned out to be a great recommendation. Steve an Don were great to work with. And buy they did, the final total was about twice what I expected to get which was huge for my family. We researched the estate sale process in depth over a period of several months and interviewed several companies by phone, eventually narrowing it down to two companies. We next attended sales they were holding and then interviewed both companies at my mother-in-law's home. After this process the choice was clear. We chose Lott's Treasures, who won our confidence with their professionalism, honesty, and ability to communicate clearly. One thing we especially appreciated was that they did not get carried away with exaggerated or unrealistic claims during the interview process in order to win our business. They were thoughtful, thorough, and level-headed. We had no regrets. The sale was a success, and we were thrilled with the result. They navigated several issues with clarity and ease in spite of the fact that we live on the West Coast and my mother-in-law's home is on the East Coast in Carrollton, GA, and someone was staying in the house. They dealt with the friends and relatives in my mother-in-law's community, as well as her belongings, with care, respect and grace. They always took time for us, even going out of their way, in spite of their busy schedule. Although we were very worried about numerous issues and had many concerns, we were ultimately able to let go and trust Steve and Don and their crew, which was such a relief. Being the typical, cliched cynical New Yorker type that is often described in someone’s tales of their New York trips to or vacations spent at: The one that often feels that he’s being conned or taken advantage of if even asked a question from a stranger... It fell upon me to have to go down to Georgia and take care of my mother’s estate. One of the things I had to take care of was an Estate Sale of the contents of her house. Now of course me, smart guy, I could sell this stuff myself on Ebay I do have over 1300 positives so no problem well.... Yeah sure, like I have the time and energy to do that. One or two pieces maybe, but a houseful. No way. I had to find a company to do the Estate sale. From my home in NYC I called some estate sale companies I found on the web to set up appointments.
When I got down to Marietta I had about 6 appointments in one week.
The first was with Lott’s. Unfortunately the weather was very Georgia like and I got a call from Steve Lott saying that he was iced in and couldn’t come. We rescheduled so that instead of being the first meeting, he became the last. Steve expressed his concern about that turnaround. That it might work against him. I didn’t disagree. Anyway I met with those other 5 companies, did walk-arounds and had sit-downs. I asked a lot of questions in the beginning but I quickly learned what I really needed to know so it got easier and the questions fewer. So by the time Steve and Don did meet with me I knew what I wanted to know. Turns out they didn’t have to worry. After the usual walk-around and a short sit-down I knew that they were the ones. Why? Well, there were a number of reasons... Most importantly to someone like me who sells on Ebay they know that you can’t identify and price a house full of stuff in a few days. They said they needed 3 weeks to set up as opposed to a few days. Only one of the other companies said that same thing so that really narrowed it down since that company had other issues. Nothing worse than showing mom’s old vase that you think is valuable and them just glancing over it and walking away.

I could go on about it but just let me say that they are the best choice I could have made. They were on top of everything. Incredibly patient with me. They made me more money than I thought possible. And isn’t that the most important thing? Well that and helping me maintain my sanity. I made a point of not being there for the sale and left everything in their hands. Parking, dealing with the locals and cleaning up after. All good. Seriously, I think that they are the best. Honest, reliable, hardworking and true to their word. Take it from Mr. Cynical they are that good. If you need to have an Estate Sale by all means see as many different companies as you can but definitely include Lott’s and you will not regret it.Michael KMay 2017

I had to sell my house quickly and had a house full of antiques and three floors of furniture. I found Lotts treasures online and called the company to have them come out and take a look at what I had. Steve and Don made me feel so comfortable and reassured when meeting with them. Dec 2, 2015 When it comes to the loss of a loved one, the last thing you need is uncaring business contacts when it comes to closing out that loved ones affairs. Steven and Don were the exact opposite. My mom's belongings were about more than money. They were patient when I was not sure about when or how much things were purchased for. I would recommend anyone to these guys. They have a precise expertise on period and antique pieces. Their attention to detail gave me the trust I needed to focus on the other long list of responsibilities I had to handle and leave them the space do their job. Moving is one of the most stressful moments in life. However , Steve and Don alleviated as much of the stress as possible and made our very first (and hopefully last) estate sale surpass our expectations. From the very beginning, they were responsive, professional and caring. They listened to our concerns and were patient with our questions and uncertainty. They staged our items with their magic touch so nicely that even I would have wanted to buy some of the things that I never really appreciated before. Steve and Don communicated daily and sometimes even several times a day before, during and after the sale. They treated our home and our items with respect and care. Throughout the process, they operated with our best interests in mind. And we were paid promptly and easily via bank transfer. What a great experience! Lott's did everything for my sale. They took all my items and staged them so they looked appealing and interesting, set the selling price and labeled each item, cleaned whatever needed to be cleaned or slightly repaired, staffed the sale, hired the valet, did the advertising and signage, conducted the sale and cleaned up after the sale. All I did was layout the items. They even brought in other items to fill out the staging so my items would look appealing. I left for the day and returned to an empty house. Sadly our family was faced with needing to have an estate sale with a house that held 65 years of memories and collected treasures. We ended up interviewing a few different companies, but as soon as Steven and Don walked in for the first time I knew we had found the people we were meant to work with. Their reassurance, compassion and empathy for our situation was only matched by their determination to do a great job and to keep us informed each step of the way. I used Lott's Treasures for my moms estate. I interviewed about 8 companies and really had a great feeling about Steve and Don. My moms house is huge and to say she had a lot of stuff is an understatement. My ex-husband unexpectedly passed away several months ago. As the administrator of his estate (since we share a child), I was at a loss for how to deal with his large home and belongings. My real estate agent suggested I hire an estate sales company. She recommended I interview at least 3 companies. Lott's Treasures was the third company I interviewed. I reached out to them via their website and scheduled an initial meeting at the house. Don and Steve arrived at the home at the scheduled time. They were both warm and friendly. They asked lots of questions as we walked through the house. They also shared their background and experiences in the industry. They gave me a great overview of how their company works and overall what happens with estate sales. We talked for nearly 2 hours. Steve suggested I attend their upcoming estate sale just to get a sense of how their team runs an estate sale. They never pressured me to sign a contract or pick a date which was not the case with the other estate sales companies. I decided to attend their estate sale the following weekend and was immediately impressed at how smoothy it was run. Everything was very well organized and neatly displayed. The sales team was friendly as upbeat music played in the background. Steve remembered me instantly and welcomed me to the sale. I was impressed. Almost immediately, I decided to work with them for my estate sale. Steve and Don were in constant communication with me during weeks leading up to my sale. They clearly have been doing this for a long time. They were able to identify many 'gotchas' that I would never have thought of. To be honest, the preparation and execution of the sale was like a finely oiled machine. They took all of the workload and worry off my shoulders. Truly. At the end of each sales day, Don called to give me an update of the progress of the day and what to expect for the next day. On the final day, Don gave me an overview of the total sale, what was left, the plan for clearing out everything, etc. In all, I simply could not be more pleased with my experience with Lott's. I knew nothing about estate sales prior to this, but they gently guided me through the entire process. I strongly recommend using Lott's.
