I just wanted to extend my sincere thanks to you and your staff for doing such a wonderful job on my mom’s house. We understood we had an extremely small house but filled with 60+ years of accumulated items. I understood from the start this was going to be such a challenge with an entire basement, attic, garage, and two bedrooms full of items. You gave me a timeline of 4 weeks and stuck to the timeline down to the last day! Your company handled everything from reserving a dumpster, permits, marketing, pricing, etc. You came in and I didn’t have to do anything at all!

I appreciated the thoughtfulness and caring your team took when going through our families’ memories and checking in with me on all the different items you uncovered. This was a very difficult time for us and you provided us with 100% peace of mind and absolutely nothing to worry about when you took over.

You made money for us with the estate sale and handled everything perfectly. I will never have enough good things to say about you and your staff. Also, the associates, vendors, and other people you know also speak so highly of you and it shows when there are 100+ people waiting to get into your estate sales 6 hours before the doors even open! I want to compliment the services of Denice and Tom of Remember That Estate Sales. Although I did not have sufficient items to warrant an estate sale, the home I had inherited had many accumulated small household items as well as numerous decorative items as well, which I needed to dispose of as I was selling the home. It is a daunting task to try to dispose of many decades of accumulated items in a home, as well as many furniture items as well.

Denice and Tom performed a complete clean out service of all small items as well as large furniture pieces that I did not need. This was an invaluable service to me as at that time as I was overwhelmed at the prospect of trying to dispose of so many large and small items by myself. If you are in the Chicago area and find yourself in need of an estate sale partner, look no further than Remember That. Denice, Tom, and the team work hard to ensure your sale is as successful as it can be. My husband and I decided to retire early, sell our house and our possessions and move to Spain. When it came to selling the items in our home Denice and Tom were the perfect partners.

From the first meeting, it was clear they were professional, personable, respectful, thoughtful, realistic, transparent, and honest. They kept neighbors in mind and coordinated with the city for the permit. We had some dependencies and deadlines regarding our move out of the country and Denice and Tom were flexible where possible keeping in mind what’s required to stage a successful sale.

During the staging process, they kept us informed almost daily regarding the progress, contacting us occasionally to confirm details. While staging and pricing, they evaluated every item in our home, testing all electronics and anything with moving parts to ensure they were sellable and in working order. They did an excellent job staging our items tastefully in each room of the house, with clearly marked price tags.

Feedback from neighbors who attended the sale indicated it was busy but well managed, priced well, and the Remember That team was friendly and helpful. After the sale The Remember That team boxed up what was left and coordinated with the non-profit organizations for pick up. They discarded items that could not be donated, leaving the house broom clean. We considered the sale very successful regarding the number of items sold and more profit than initially anticipated.
