Meadow Lane Estate Sales is owned by husband and wife team, Ron & Patty. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, knowledge, integrity, and customer service. In addition to the typical on-site estate sale, we offer a variety of services and options to customize the liquidation of your possessions using social media, online auctions, consignments, and off-site sales. Our goal is to maximize your profit with a customized plan that best suits your individual needs.
Meadow Lane Estate Sales has a loyal following of customers who enjoy attending our sales where they are always treated with the utmost courtesy. As a convenience to our customers, we accept payment via credit cards, as well as cash and checks from those customers who are known to us.
During 2019, the average attendance at one of our two-day estate sales was approximately 500 people. It's hard for a client to imagine 500 people attending their sale and it may also be concerning from the standpoint of property wear and tear, security, or damage. We are very cognizant of the care that must be taken in a client's home and we treat it as if it were our own. We do not allow customers to move their own furniture so as not to damage walls or other surfaces. In addition, we have a dedicated doorman who limits the number of people coming in and out of the sale. All customers must show their receipt at the door as they exit. We also employ enough staff to be able to properly serve customers while overseeing all areas of the home. Our staff is comprised of a knowledgeable staff of seasoned professionals with over 60 years combined experience.
How Much Does it Cost?
Our commission structure is simple -- 35% of the gross proceeds of the sale. This includes set-up and staging of your home, research, valuation and pricing. Advertising on social media, in print, and via email. Staffing of a two-day sale. Proceeds are provided to the client within three days of the end of the sale.
After the Sale "Clean-Out"

Meadow Lane also offers clean-out services. This entails removal of all of the contents of the home, leaving it completely empty with carpets vacuumed, hard surfaces damp mopped, cabinets vacuumed out, and ready for the new owner. The clean-out begins with donation of any unsold items, recycling, responsible disposal of paint, cleaning supplies and electronics. Finally, any items that cannot be donated or recycled are hauled away and disposed of. This process usually takes one to two days to complete.
