Finding a unique, and maybe even valuable, item at an estate sale can be fun. And while I enjoy the hunt as much as anyone, I also understand the emotion and memories involved. It is never easy to move out of a home you’ve lived in for decades, and many of us will someday face that reality. That’s why I started Caring Transitions of Orland Park. I want to make the entire stressful process easier for seniors in our community.
My wife, sister, parents, in-laws and I will work as a team to serve the families of Orland Park, an area I’ve called home my entire life.
I chose to open this business after working for years as an emergency medical technician (EMT). During my career, I spent many days responding to emergencies involving seniors. I transported them to the hospital and even got to spend time in their homes. I grew to love the time I spent hearing life stories and soaking in the wisdom that comes with age. It also made me realize how quickly life can change and how little guidance is available for loved ones who may be forced to help a senior downsize quickly after an accident or even the death of a spouse.
Caring Transitions is a special business that serves a very specific purpose for families in a period of transition. I am truly honored to do this for a living. When I am not at work, you can find me fishing or spending time with my family. We are huge sports fans and love cheering on our local teams. Bear down, Chicago Bears!
My team and I would look forward to meeting you and learning what we can do to help make your transition as smooth as possible.
