We started in the Auction industry in the mid 1990’s motivated by a new technology called on-line sales. Driven by a passion for art & antiques and motivated by changes in our existing careers, we decided this was to be OUR next transition in life. Along the way we became Certified Appraisers, On-Line Sales Specialist, Consultants, Senior Specialist and Counselors. We consistently saw a need for more than just an auction service; the need for a company that specializes in the transitional process and not just the selling of personal property.
We learned that an auction may not always be the best or wisest option. Secondary markets are changing demographically and economically. Some clients want to simply disperse their property to family or friends. Some want to contribute their special collections to museums and institutions. Some are unable to physically deal with their life transition while others are the victims of unfortunate life changing events. Many circumstances are managed by Professionals from the Trust and Legal community. Some are court ordered while others are the final wish of a loved one.
