Making a positive impact on our community has always been an important part of our work for the last 15 years while working with my agents as a Real Estate Broker. Our emphasis over the years has developed into helping families that have inherited a house, most times it would be the children, and other times a spouse.
We figured out many different solutions over the years to help; If their house needed a lot of work and the family just needed to sell it quick due to lack of funds for upkeep, I would buy it at an agreed price. If it were in decent shape, then we would list it for sale, and the nice thing, they could always go back and have us buy it for the agreed amount price anytime, especially during a down market as the house sits for longer periods.
We even sometimes paid for the probate as the family didn’t have the funds to proceed with it. We found many ways to help the family cleanout their house, we would hold estate sales or bring in a specialty buyer to buy out the homeowners content so they could maximize their profits and move on. Over the years, our work developed a network of attorneys, Real Estate agents, Contractors, Donation centers, movers and more. So, I found myself searching for a business model that could really complement our real estate endeavor, I envisioned us to be different from all the real estate companies out there and Caring Transitions became that vehicle which created a turnkey solution for us in helping Seniors and their families solve this ongoing dilemma of a one stop shop!

In his personal time, Joe enjoys helping others and gives back to his community; he has also served as an elected officer of his church. An important cause dear to his heart is the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, along with St Jude’s Research hospital. As a Certified Scuba Diver, Joe filled a long time desire to dive in Disney’s Epcot Living Seas aquarium, which is billed as the 2nd largest man-made body of water in the world; he was one of the Disney cast members during the dive. Joe also loves to travel and explore new places and is also a New England Sports fan.
