Michael J. Hartt is the owner of the Hartt Estate Sales and Antiques Gallery, a private corporation located in the metro Detroit area. We serve Detroit and the surrounding communities including but not limited to the Grosse Pointes, St Clair Shores, Birmingham, and Harper Woods. Hartt Estate conducts professionally conducted Estate Sales. Hartt Antiques Gallery is engaged in the appraisal, acquisition and sale of antiques and collectibles. Mr. Hartt has been an executive with major automotive-related corporations in southeast Michigan, and in a former avocation that has become his primary professional focus, he has been actively engaged in the purchase and sale of antiques and collectibles (furniture, fine art, jewelry, and decorative arts) since 1973. He has attended hundreds of major antique and collectibles auctions and estate sales throughout the United States, and is a well-known collector of museum-quality American furniture and related collectibles. Mr. Hartt has appraised, purchased and sold thousands of items from auctions and estate sales and is widely respected by his peers and practitioners in the local Grosse Pointe and Detroit metro area and national auction and appraisal industry.
