The Process and The Blessing.
We interviewed several auction/estate businesses and found Jeff and Cheri were the perfect fit for our project. It truly was a Blessing to get to work with them. Our family enjoyed their humor, kindness and above all the work ethic and talent that they used to pull together the estate sale for two long standing Sweet Home businesses. We were fortunate to hold this on the last sunny weekend in mid-October 2022.They have a significant following that attend and also utilize the local media services to attract an excited crowd. We were amazed at the amount of product Jeff could sort through, set his tables up and display in a very attractive manner at an incredible pace. Their knowledge of presentation is tremendous. We truly enjoyed Cheri and her crew that helped customers accumulate their purchases before checkout in such an organized manner. They have a game plan that works very efficiently. Cheri works behind the scenes uploading the photos and getting out the advance advertising. We had a wide variety of items and they always coordinated with us on any questions, input or suggestions we had. You couldn't ask for a better team than Jeff and Cheri !!! Recommended 100%.

Recollections Estate Services is the absolute best. Cheri and Jeff are the most amazing people. They have an unparalleled work ethic; they are honest, knowledgeable, helpful, caring, and have a quick sense of humor. I found them to be great people.

Ginormous Ranch Sale was what they called it, and aptly so. We had a vast number of items from the tiniest tacks to large farm equipment that needed to be sorted, cleaned up or thrown away, then displayed and prices marked. Jeff was here nearly every single day for a month before the sale, working from 8:00 a.m. or before until 4:00 p.m. Cheri was here nearly every day also but spent some days home to complete the computer work which included the 120+ photographs she had taken. In the evenings they researched some of the more obscure items for prices. Cheri and Jeff worked hard after the sale as well; cleaning up and leaving the place as immaculate as was humanly possible. This sale was not one for the weak or faint of heart.

After interviewing several companies, I chose Recollections Estate Services. It was a lengthy process. One I didn’t particularly enjoy. But, overall, it was well worth it. They were the first I interviewed but, like most of my shopping, I had to see what else was out there. About a month after we first met and shortly after my final interview, they called me; just to touch base and say they were still interested. I was so happy and relieved. Because the interview process had taken so long, I was hesitant to phone them even though I knew they were who I wanted. They came out, we toured the property a second time and , as it is said, the rest is history .

I owe Cheri and Jeff of Recollections Estate Services a GINORMOUS amount of gratitude for all they did. They truly have a place in my heart.

In the last three years, I lost my sister, my mom and my dad. All of my remaining relatives live elsewhere in the country, and were not available to help me clear out the house and barn. My parents had lived in their home for 45 years, and held on to everything -- like most people from their generation. Our family would like to give a huge shout out to "Recollections Estate Services" and their incredible staff for the estate sale they held for mom the weekend of July 14th, 2017. After living on the property for over fifty years you can only imagine the amount of stuff that had accumulated. Mom, being an avid antique collector all of her adult life had lots of treasures. It was overwhelming to say the least! Being a living estate sale, mom took some of her most special treasures with her when she agreed to downsize. After the kids and grandkids were given some of the things they loved and needed it was time to call for help. Jeff and Cheri were called and they came out within a few days. They agreed to take on this massive job...thankfully It only took them five days to get ready for one of their biggest estate sales ever. The sale went on without a hitch and was a big success! One of the saddest times in a persons life is when you have to have an Estate sale to sell all your parents possessions. Luckily for me, I got to have a Living Estate Sale while my father is still alive. It made it a bit easier for me having his help on what he wanted to let go of and let me tell you, it was a tremendous amount of stuff. I contacted Jeff and Cheri and "Recollections Estate Services" and they were out within a few days to take a look. I was really afraid that they would not want to tackle the amount of stuff that was in the 4 bay shop - things that have been "stored" for over 30 years. Just picture a couple of hoarders and you have the picture. They accepted the challenge with grace and we scheduled the sale for 1 week later. The week before the sale, Jeff and his mother Marian came and sorted through piles and piles and made everything look great. The sale went off without a hitch and I cannot tell you how relieved I was not to have to tackle the mess myself. Our company chose Recollections Estate Services to liquidate the contents of a 14,000 square foot building that we had sold. ​Recently, my Aunt, 95, passed. It was overwhelming to see all the furniture, musical instruments, general stuff, etc. that we needed to sell or donate. Complicated by the fact that we live in North Carolina and my Aunt's house is in Oregon, this made things even more difficult.
