Selecting an accredited appraiser is essential if you’re planning an estate sale. Market knowledge, obtained through research of your processions is necessary. Families are not qualified to conduct estate sales. Pricing items need to be done without sentimentality or emotions.  Your trust officer, lawyer or CPA is not familiar in the fluctuation of values and does not have the aptitude to conduct a correctly priced sale.

The Last Remains recently did an estate sale for my family. We are so very pleased with the results. Working with Christine was a pleasure, and most importantly, she really knows how to get the job done! I also appreciate that she has a background in marketing and appraising items for sale as well as a storefront location. She and her crew are such hard workers. From the start, she explained the entire process and what to expect in terms of timeframes, things that needed to be done, and estimated earnings for our family. The whole job was done in record time! Everything unfolded just as she had explained. Other estate sales companies we checked out were unpredictable, rude, and one even cancelled on us at the last minute. I was surprised how fast Christine and her team set everything up during the days before the sale. They arranged everything so beautifully. The house looked awesome, and it really helped our family get the maximum value for our belongings. And, during the sale, I don't think any of the workers really took much of a break at all...they were moving the whole time, and they each knew their roles. They worked super efficiently and kept a tight schedule, getting all of the work done in record time. Even after the sale, Christine made sure that all unsold items got picked up by the charity of our choice and that all remaining debris was disposed of properly, leaving the house nice and clean. As stated in the contract, my family received the check for our estate sale earnings within the amount of time Christine had told us. I can't properly express how grateful I am to you for the burdens you have removed from my shoulders. The estate sale brought in a little more than we were expecting and your suggestion for me to allow you to photograph the house and show it on your website brought a family to us that fell in love with it. They are looking forward to moving in.
