We are both retired. Charlie was employed at First Victoria National Bank for 30 years as a vice president in lending. Daphne taught U.S. History before retiring from VISD. We have owned an antique business for the last 30 years and have been active in the estate sale business for the last 10 years. Our staff is experienced, professional, friendly, and always offers exceptional customer service.
Once you have removed all items the family will be keeping we do all of the work from that point until the sale is complete. When the sale is over we will sweep and vacuum and if you want, we will see that the left over items are liquidated. We normally have very little left that has much value – our job is to sell the items and maximize the proceeds for you.
Here are a few things about how we conduct our sale:
1. We work on a commission basis. There are no deposits required and no hidden fees. We do not charge extra to set up or to clean up.
2. We do not buy items from our sales. We feel that would be a conflict of interest.
3. We have developed a customer base of over 1200 people over the last 10 years who frequent our sales. These loyal customers are notified of the sales by email. We also advertise in the local newspapers, Facebook, and the Internet.
4. DON’T THROW ANYTHING AWAY – It is amazing how many times a family member “gets rid of” items that would have brought good money at the sale. Please let us determine if an item has value. The more items in the sale the better the attendance will be.
