My experience as an auction administrator, researcher and appraiser since 1999 qualifies me to conduct effective appraisals on personal property. On a weekly basis, I researched all items for a local auction house and other Estate Sale companies in the Richmond, Virginia area. The requirements to research these items is to determine the identity, age and current value in the Richmond, Virginia market as well as the current value in other areas to determine the best market to sell and best way to advertise these items for sale and auction.
I have been conducting appraisals since 2000 for the purposes of Fair Market Value, Insurance Replacement Value, and Auction Liquidation Value among many other reasons and purposes. I have an extensive knowledge database to conduct the research needed to arrive at the estimated values needed for every type of appraisal.
In addition, I have attended the classes in order to comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) 101 and 201, Plant and Machinery Equipment Appraisals. I update my education on a regular basis and continue to take classes to stay current.
