This custom piece has a graceful bell-shape descending to the pedestal below. Superb workmanship. Art Deco style. It is not an antique.
The upper front smoothly drops down and the top opens easily to provide a surface that could be used as a server or vanity. The inside top is fitted with a beveled mirror. Small curved drawers in this area provide storage for small items. Heavy-duty hardware.
Each drawer is successively smaller as they follow the bell shape. The inlays are perfectly matched to the upper scroll at the tops.
