This drawing is a political cartoon by Amadee '96, which humorously depicts the character of Father Time trying to gain entry into the "1-2-3 Club" by citing "longevity" as his credential.
The 1-2-3 Club is a real-life, long-standing sports fraternity based in St. Louis, Missouri, founded in 1946.
Members of the club meet every Monday (except holidays) to discuss sports.
The cartoon's humor stems from the fact that Father Time, who represents the passage of time and thus has existed for millennia, presents his extreme longevity as a credential to join a club known for its own long history and for having members who are legends in St. Louis sports circles.
