Used-Good Condition

This is a mid-century modern nightstand or small dresser manufactured by Metz. The piece features a distinctive burl wood veneer on the drawer fronts, set within a lighter wood frame with carved detailing. The top surface is inlaid with two rectangular pieces of travertine stone, separated by a wooden strip. It stands on four tapered brass legs. The interior of a drawer reveals a "Metz" maker's mark and two seals from the National Association of Furniture Manufacturers, indicating adherence to quality standards of its era. The overall design reflects the clean lines and natural material focus characteristic of mid-century modern furniture.
