Original U.S. Navy regulation officer’s visor cap, dating to the World War II–early postwar period. Features a bullion-embroidered officer’s eagle and shield, gold officer band, and original leather visor and sweatband.

Interior retains the original regulation label marked “made and sold under authority of the U.S. Navy,” Wool Authority No. 1486. The cap is named to Lt. (j.g.) Robert P. King, with period handwritten identification inside.

Good overall condition with honest service wear
Wool crown intact
Bullion insignia present with age toning
Leather visor shows scuffs and edge wear consistent with age
Sweatband intact
No restoration observed
