Large Chinese Glazed Ceramic Warrior 18", 19 lbs

Offered is a large and highly detailed Chinese glazed ceramic figure depicting a seated warrior or official figure in traditional attire. The figure is finished in rich polychrome glaze with strong black, iron-red, green, cream, and gilt-accented details. The subject is seated on a stylized throne with decorative mask motifs and a tiered base featuring floral panels.

The underside bears a red stamped mark (as shown), consistent with later 20th-century Chinese production. The piece is substantial, weighing approximately 19 pounds, and measures approximately 18 inches tall by 11 inches wide, making it an impressive decorative object.
