Charming vintage Mexican Talavera ceramic tile featuring a hand-painted folk art scene of a campesino in a hat and poncho overlooking a mountain landscape with cactus. Vibrant colors and classic cobalt-blue border, all painted under glaze in traditional Talavera technique. Reverse shows typical unglazed terracotta back.

A beautiful example of mid-century Mexican artisan tile work—excellent for collectors or display.
