Antique Ansonia Clock Co Figural Mantle Clock Sir Issac Newton

Marked in back Ansonia Clock Co. Patented June 14, 1981. New York, USA. Patented June 18 1882. Ansonia clock with Isaac Newton figurine. 5.5 in. sunken porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, gilt bezel, beveled door glass, fancy black hands, and exposed Brocot escapement with steel pallets; dial signed with Ansonia trademark. Brass, 8-day, spring-driven movement. The figural top depicts a seated Isaac Newton holding a globe, next to a book stand with an inkwell on top; long cast metal base with an ebony finish. The finish on the metal is worn in some spots, and some metal mounting is missing in front, but it is still in good condition, and the inner clock mechanism is good. 12 in. high x 17.5 in. wide. Depth is 7 inches. 20 Lbs.
Selling "as is." Not sure if it is in working condition.
