This chair is an antique French Louis XV style armchair, also known as a fauteuil a la reine. It features a hand-carved wood frame, likely made of walnut or mahogany, decorated with ornate floral and foliate scrolls. Chair makes a very strong design statement with a beautiful carved wood frame. Has a wonderfully distinctive black and off-white floral pattern upholstery on the back, seat, and armrests. Features unique claw feet. Very comfortable and a great accent piece for any room.
