Outstanding vintage L.E. Smith Glass Company swung vase in the highly collectible Bittersweet colorway. Part of the Simplicity line, featuring a vertically ribbed body, vivid orange glass with yellow/amber coloration toward the base, and a dramatic individually swung flame-form opening. Because these vases were stretched while the glass was hot, the upper shape of each example is unique. Mid-century American art glass, likely dating to approximately the 1960s–1970s. Approximately 26–27" tall.
