Exceptional 10-volume antique leather-bound set of The Writings of Thomas Paine, identified as the Thomas Jefferson Edition and published by Vincent Parke and Company, New York, copyright 1908.
Of particular interest, the limitation page states that the Thomas Jefferson Edition was limited to only 50 numbered copies. The number line on this example appears unfilled, so I would describe it as limited to 50 copies rather than claim a specific copy number.
The set includes Paine's major works and related writings, including Common Sense, The Crisis, Rights of Man, Age of Reason, essays, letters, addresses, poetry, biography and appreciations. Edited and annotated by Daniel Edwin Wheeler.

Antique condition with visible rubbing, scuffs and wear to leather, particularly along edges and spine ends
Interior pages appear generally well preserved for their age. Books are in really good condition despite their age.
Important: These are 1908, not 1980. The copyright page in the photos clearly shows 1908, and the 50-copy limitation makes this a considerably more interesting set than an ordinary later reprint.
