An exceptional Chinese vase with Foo Dog design with height of 25". In VG + conditions. I made a lot of inquiries about this vase but no one was able to translate the seal. The Oracle Bone Script goes back to 2000 BC but was also used much later for Chinese made porcelain sometimes instead of the dinasty. If you have more information I would very much appreciate. Stands toll on a rosewood base with marble top which dates to probably late 19th century and has a height of 13". Prefer local pickup but will also ship via UPS where the handling, packing and shipping will be done at somewhere around $165 or MORE. Please look carefully at the pictures before bidding. ONE THING I DIDN'T MENTION. THE BASE IS A BIT WOBLY, IT IS NOT STRAIGHT AS MADE BY A MACHINE. IT DOES SIT ON A STAND BUT HAS ABOUT 10 DEGREES ANGLE.
