Ended French dessert set, gilt glass

This set consists of a lidded round bowl/jar, a wider open bowl with high and low rim, plus six diminutive handled cups, all clear glass with hand-applied gilding, probably 1910s-1920s. Other than some gilt wear, the set is in good condition. The script writing on the bottoms of the jar and bowl is French.
We are wondering if this is an afternoon snack set consisting of espresso cups, sugar bowl, plus bowl for raspberries. Perhaps, someone can enlighten us.
