Ended lamp, early 20th century iridescent purple glass

The metal socket and sleeve affixed to the glass as well as the glass itself appear to be early 20th century. The glass portion has a knop over a waisted portion flaring out to a flattened bulbous body, overall 4-5/8"h x 4-5/8"d. The glass texture varies from matte finish slightly striated sections to polished glossy surrounding portions. The iridescent colors vary from a deep purple to blue. We have found no maker identification. The glass is in fine condition. The three round white circles on the bottom are what is left of felt disks. The light socket works. The electric cord is an early 21st century change, in supple condition.
