This doll is a beautiful example of craftsmanship. Her head and body are soft cloth and her face is hand painted in a Tang Dynasty style with characteristic huadian forehead decoration.
Her pink and white hanfu ensemble is made with real silk with delicate beading and embroidery. Her hair is a natural material, likely human hair. It's styled in an intricate Tang Dynasty updo with shining gold hair ornaments including dangling imitation pearl-and-jade buyao. She even has a dainty beaded necklace.
She's in overall marvelous shape with only a few loose hairs and a small stain on her sleeve. Please see the photos for details.
The base measures 14" by 10" and her height is 17" in all. This doll has no identifying marks.
